20 Bags in 20 Days Declutter Challenge

Friday August 27th to Friday September 17th

The goal of the 20 bags in 20 days Declutter Challenge is to get rid of items in your home that no longer serves a purpose. The process is intended to get rid of items that are gently used, small, large, take up too much space, that you haven’t used in more than one year, or that you simply don’t like anymore.

The outcome at the end of your 20 days, your home will only contain the items that you like and that you use. Your home will be less cluttered, and you will have a new mindset toward junk and clutter entering and staying in your home. Not to mention, it will be much easier for you to clean and declutter moving forward because you’ve already put in the hard work upfront.

The what and why: On Friday, September 17th, the LRA Parents Association kickoff the annual FUNDrive. This fun and exciting way to raise money is a win-win for all. We collect the items you declutter and work with SAVERS, who will collect our goods and give us $ in return.  More information on the back.

FUNDrive Goal: Surpass our 2020 earnings of over $1,300. Clean out your closets and help support our LRA Parents Association at the same time!  Minimize your possessions to live a focused life!

Not sure where to start? Check out our declutter calendar. Cross days off as you complete them to help you keep track of your progress. If a day doesn’t apply to you, get creative and think about things you know are cluttered and dive in. Think big or small including your purse, under a bed or in a box that you haven’t opened in awhile.
